Saving Charlie

WILL YOU ADOPT ME?

Or do you know SOMEONE who might give me a kind, safe, and loving home?

If so, please forward this email or contact Angela at ang7228@aol.com.

"I just know my new Mom or Dad is out there somewhere... I can feel it." - Charlie

I'm 6-weeks old. For now, my Foster Mom has been calling me "Charlie."

She found me last week trying to cross 6 lanes on PCH with my sister. We zigged and zagged across rush hour traffic and stopped right in front of her car. Thankfully she doesn't text while driving and her brakes worked. She stopped all the traffic and chased us down until we were safe in her car...

My first thought was "STRANGER DANGER," but somehow I just knew we'd be OK!

At first, my Foster Mom wasn't sure if another car hit us because my sister's backside looked injured, so she took us to a vet.

Thankfully, neither of us got hit...

...But sadly...

...My little calico sister was already pretty sick from some other bad injury, and when the nice man at the hospital sedated her to help her, she went to sleep and never woke up again. My Foster Mom says that was probably a blessing, because she wouldn't hurt anymore, and could "go" quickly without suffering.

So now it's just me... But I know up there somewhere, Sis is still looking out for me, maybe even helping me find my new home...

"God gives every bird his worm, but he does not throw it into the nest." - Charlie, quoting an old Swedish proverb.

Sniff, sniff...

So what else can I tell you about me...

I am 6 weeks old, a boy obviously.

I'm a guy's guy. And a ladies' man, all-in-one.

As you can see by my headshots, I am solid black, and yes, quite the looker....

Look into my eyes
... Prrrrrrrr....

How YOU doin'?

Yeah, my little charming way works on just about everyone -- just ask my Foster Mom's other cats. They all love to teach me how to stalk, and play, and climb. We've become fast friends in no time!!!

"That little blur is me... I'm too fast for mere mortals' cameras..." - Charlie

I'm quite entertaining to watch, and when I finally tucker out, I love to cuddle.

When Mommy Angie found me, I was WILD, but she spent a lot of time with me, so now I'm a total Momma's Boy...

And I always pee and poop in this big square plastic thing with sand, which I hear is kinda important...

"I'm a total catch." - Charlie

By the time someone adopts me, I would already have had my shots and tests, and Mommy Ang said she'd help pay for the neutering -- whatever that is... She hasn't quite told me what that means...

Hmmm. I wonder what she's hiding....

So, if you personally can't be my new Mom or Dad, could you pass this on to SOMEONE ELSE who might give me a kind, safe, and loving home?

If you want to meet me, please email my Foster Momma Angela at ang7228@aol.com.

Peace out, dudes!!!

xoxo
Charlie
